From the wedding fairs that I have done over the past few years, I have been fortunate to see some of the possible venues for you to choose to get married in. Some are just absolutely stunning and if I was to plan my wedding they would be my choice too! So I thought as a way of helping you on your wedding journey I would list some of the beautiful venues I have seen and provide a link so you can check them out too:
Botany Bay Hotel, Marine Drive, Kingsgate, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 3LG
Fancy a beach theme to your wedding? Why not choose the Botany Bay Hotel, with the stunning coastal backdrop from the Kingsgate suite. Not far from the beautiful town of Broadstairs and with a picturesque views this hotel is a must see venue.
East Quay Venue, Whitstable Harbour, Whitstable Kent CT5 1AB
Fancy something a little different as a venue? Why not book Eastquay Venue; it is set in the beautiful town of Whitstable and is housed within one of Whitstable’s oldest buildings at the end of the eastquay of Whitstable harbour. Situated on the beach it is a completely unique venue.
Westenhanger Castle, Stone Street, Westenhanger, Hythe, Kent CT21 4HX
Want a venue that is bespoke and personal? Westenhanger Castle has a unique setting for any wedding. The castle has a wonderful history with Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I having once lived at the castle. At Westenhanger Castle you have the freedom to make it “your” wedding rather than what the venue dictates. Bring your own caterers, decoration and ideas if you wish and choose from four possible places to get married; plus you get to have a pirate ship at your wedding too! Who could want for anything more?
The Winding House, Singledge Lane, Coldred, Dover CT15 5AG
The Winding House is a spectacular restoration of an old Kent Coal Heritage Building near the picturesque village of Coldred. Set between Canterbury and the coast, this venue brings the contemporary cool to the country. A truly amazing and unique venue with a wonderful surprise of a building.
